This page explains what Web Tools Finder stores in your browser, why, and how you can change your choice. It goes together with our Privacy Policy.
A cookie is a small file a website places in your browser. Websites also use your browser’s local storage, which works in a similar way. In this policy, “cookies” means both.
These keep the site working and remember what you chose. They stay on your own device and are not used to track you:
If you clear your browser data, this storage is removed, and you will see the cookie choice again.
If you allow analytics, we use Google Analytics to learn which pages are useful (pages visited, device type, approximate region). Google Analytics sets cookies such as _ga and _ga_*, which can last up to two years. If you decline, these are not used.
We do not show ads yet. If we start to show Google AdSense ads, Google and its partners may use cookies to show and measure ads, and to personalise them if you allow it. This only applies when you have switched Advertising on. You can also manage personalised ads in Google Ad Settings.
Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell real visitors from automated bots. When the check runs, Cloudflare may store or read small pieces of data in your browser to decide whether you are human. This is used only for security. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
If we add or change what we store, we will update this page and the date at the top.
